He Won't Just Show Up on Your Doorstep

That's what they say about men.

But it's not true. They do show up on doorsteps. It's happened more then once. (Again today).

They knock on your door out of nowhere, climb the steps...

But so do racoons and mice.

Most times they are genuous, caring blokes...but sometimes they are not.

You have to locate your broom and chase them away.

I'm assuming you are saying you never told him where you lived and he investigated it and found you?

I had a stalker who I willing told where I lived but when we broke up it was 5 years of threats and stalking. The result is I use a cell only, never answer unknown numbers, use a PO Box for everything, get my mail at unregular times late at night, never tell anyone where I live unless they are a good good friend.

Doing this makes me feel safe.

Charlene,

He knows where I live. It was not a "stalking" situation.

But I can't believe that happened to you.

I wonder if men know...how scary their brothers are.
I'm very attached to my 911 button. God help the man who endeavors to stalk me.

I can't talk about it in open forum, but there's of course more to the story!

I wrote a short story about the whole thing, fictionalized, and a good friend read it. At the end of the story I wounded him. My friend said, "kill him!" I rewrote the story. It sure felt good. :: giggle ::

I've never had the experience, but my friend called me last week while hiding in her bedroom waiting for the guy who was pounding on her door to go away. She was afraid to leave the bedroom in case he was cruising the parameter of the house looking in the windows.
She wasn't afraid he would hurt her, just didn't want the uncomfortableness of having to tell him she's not interested and that he should go away now.

Charmaine: I do know how scary some men are, and that makes me sad and worried.

It is also why I would not consider men like that to be my brothers.

I also hope that no one ever finds me to be scary like that.
